  • I told Crina that Vlad stole the crucifix. It was the right thing to do. Friend or not – there's no justifying what he did.
  • I decided to lie to Crina – telling her otherwise would have put Vlad in mortal danger. He may be a graverobber, but he's still my friend.
  • I didn't have the time to see this through – there's only so much one can fit in a day.
